The Tiger Who Came for a Pint is a cheeky, illustrated story about a tiger with one mission: finding a proper pint with a bit of punch. It’s a novelty, pub-themed picture book with ink-and-watercolour style artwork and dry, playful humour.
This book brings the original mascot to life, faithfully recreated from its on-screen appearance, complete with full-colour illustrations and all the wonderfully ridiculous details.
A loving tribute to a brilliant comic mind and a reminder that the funniest stories don’t need to make any sense at all.

James Bishop has now published over 20 books, from his first two children’s picture books inspired by the adventures he shares with his daughter, Josie, to many more beyond! His first book, My Daddy Rides a Motorbike, began when Josie sat on his motorcycle at just seven months old. A photograph of that moment became the spark for a story, which James developed during the coronavirus pandemic with the help of illustrator and friend Steve Coles. What started as a personal Christmas present for Josie quickly grew into a published book that found an audience among families and motorbike enthusiasts alike.
James has now created book of jokes, memes, colouring and cooking. Whatever your interest, I'm sure there's a book for it!
